COLUMBIA, S.C. – Piedmont Energy Systems, Inc. (PES), a supplier of custom-built bulk hydrocarbon and fluorocarbon storage and distribution systems, has expanded its manufacturing operations into a new location in York County. The company’s $4.2 million investment is expected to create 29 new jobs.
Founded in 1973, PES serves a wide range of customers, from mid-size businesses to Fortune 500 companies. The company manufactures customized solutions for storing and delivering various kinds of bulk fuels, liquids and refrigerants, and is known for its high-quality products and services. The company is also expanding its process skid fabrication and controls business.
PES has recently relocated to a new, 50,000-square-foot facility in York County that is more than four times larger than its existing industrial facility. The company purchased 47 acres of road along Campbell Road earlier this year.
