Giti Tire breaks ground in Chester County

Giti Tire broke ground on its new $560 million, 1,700 employee, tire manufacturing plant in Chester County, South Carolina.  South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley and Giti Tire’s Executive Chairman Enki Tan joined other Giti executives and government officials in the official groundbreaking of the company’s first American plant, which is scheduled to open in 2016.  Read full coverage from the Rock Hill Herald and WRHI.
