The South Carolina I-77 Alliance has launched its redesigned website, www.i77alliance.com, as a critical resource for industrial prospects, site selectors, and other professionals already committed to or considering investing in the dynamic corridor between Charlotte and Columbia.
“The I-77 Corridor is entering an exciting era of expansion, fueled by transformative investments in electric vehicle production, battery technology, tire production, and a diverse range of industries and professions,” said Sandy Martin, Alliance Board Chair and Vice President at Duke Energy.
“This new website reinforces the Alliance’s role as the go-to resource for those looking to understand and capitalize on the region’s dynamic economic landscape,” Martin said.
Founded in 2014 as a county-driven nonprofit, the Alliance markets York, Lancaster, Chester, Fairfield, and Richland counties as a premier business destination. With support from public and private partners, the Alliance provides critical data analysis, lead generation, and insights on available and potential sites to attract capital investment and high-quality jobs.
“The redesigned website reflects our commitment to advancing economic opportunities across the five-county region,” said Interim President and CEO Chris Finn. “By providing a centralized, data-rich hub, we’re ensuring businesses, investors, and community leaders have the tools they need to make informed decisions.”
The revamped site offers an intuitive platform for accessing key economic and workforce data. Key features include:
- Dynamic Design & Layout – A sleek, user-friendly interface for easy navigation.
- Custom Data Hub – The I-77 Data Insights section consolidates key metrics like population, workforce, and education data.
- Investor Showcase – Highlights Alliance investors and outlines benefits of involvement.
- Events Calendar – A regularly updated schedule of economic development events.
As the I-77 Corridor continues to attract new industries and investment, the enhanced website will continue to ensure access to current, relevant information to site visitors that include economic developers, utilities, real estate professionals, attorneys, engineers, educators, and more.
“The collaborative participation of our partners and investors has been instrumental in ensuring this platform effectively showcases the I-77 Corridor’s competitive advantages,” Finn added. “We’re excited to now put it to work.”
